Nova Scotia Chain Pickeral Experience

Chain Pickeral (cousin of the Northern Pike) were introduced to Southern Nova Scotia in the 40s. More than approx. 40 lakes contain these invasive species now.
Pickeral can be found in many structured areas; rock outcroppings, logs, and weed beds. Even shallow stagnant waters.
Mostly visual predators, they strike on; awkward movements, rattles and vibrations.
CP can grow to a weight of approx. 6.5 lbs. and length close to 30". Once the water warms up these swamp donkeys have an aggressive strike and a ferocious bite. Book your trip today, morning or evening!
