Alaskan Sport Fishing Lodge

Lake Iliamna is situated in the Bristol Bay watershed, home to the largest sockeye and king salmon runs in the world. Iliamna is the largest freshwater lake in Alaska and one of the largest in North America, comparable with the Great Lakes. Novices and experienced fly fishermen alike will feel welcome at Talarik Creek Lodge. With our knowledgeable and experienced guides and a staff that caters to your every need, a week here will be the experience of a lifetime. Talarik Creek Lodge has all the transportation tools necessary to get you on the fish. Depending on species, season and drainage, as well as specific itineraries, boats, aircraft and 4-wheel drive vehicles are utilized to transport clients from the lodge to the fishing areas. A well-appointed establishment, it is designed with your utmost comfort in mind, and will cater to your every need. The vista alone, from our wrap-around deck, makes your travel worthwhile. The lodge is a second generation family run operation by local Alaskans, who have years of experience in both the fishing and service industry. Our staff provides you with a hearty fisherman's breakfast, a to-go or shore lunch, and a fabulous dinner. An Alaskan wilderness experience, to satisfy your every expectation, awaits you.

Martha is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Iliamna. Martha is a second generation sport fishing operator, having worked in her mother and father's fishing lodge her entire life. Her knowledge of the area, the lake, and all its tributaries is invaluable. Martha is always present, facilitating any detail, cooking delicious meals, and attending to any and all needs of her guests.
