Our private fishing lodge sleeps up to 20 people and offers the best fishing experience on Cahora Bassa. Our friendly staff and reliable equipment will make your self-catering stay pleasant and memorable. Tigerfish are the main fish of interest but our favourite spots are home to all species, inluding but not limited to Vundu, Bream, Cornish Jack, Bottlenose and various others.

We prefer to release our catches but if you hook a fish badly and it has a poor chance of survival it would be better served in the pot!

Deposit non-refundable.
Deposits are non-refundable but the full amount can be put towards your next trip with us, within 12 months.

How to get there

Vinho, Tete Province, Mozambique
Road transfers are available from Tete International Airport to the South Bank of the dam, thereafter a 20 minute boat transfer to the island is necessary and refreshments on ice are guaranteed! Air Charters to the dam are available at certain times of the year. There is secure parking is available at the boat transfer collection point should you choose to drive in yourself!

Book with 50% deposit

Once the lodge confirms your trip, your credit card will be charged with a 50% deposit to guarantee the reservation.

Pay remaining balance to the manager
