10 day Castaway Sea Safari Kenya (4 pax)

10 days 'Sybarite Castaway Sea Fishing Safari' - the ultimate north Kenya sea safari... Experience the remote tropical white sand beaches and the world-renowned big game fishing of Northern Kenya's Indian Ocean with the ultimate coastal camp cruising sea safari… • Location: From Watamu, through the North Kenya Banks, to the Lamu Archipelago (Western Indian Ocean), experiencing remote tropical beach camps, fishing lodges, native Swahili settlements and the vibrant cultures of Lamu, while fishing Kenya's prolific continental shelf for big gamefish! • Travel: All sea fishing safari itineraries start and finish at Malindi Airport (MYD), unless overnight Nairobi hotels or lodges have been booked or the fishing safari is part of a longer itinerary. ► FISHING What sets Kenya apart from other sea fishing destinations is the unique combination of underwater terrain, ocean currents and coastal winds - 55 miles north-east of Malindi are The North Kenya Banks, an undersea mountain chain, home to some of the top predators of the Indian Ocean - Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, as well as Broadbill Swordfish, perfect for a Kenya 'Fantasy Slam' (5 different billfish species in one trip). ► BEACH COASTLINE Further, Kenya’s coastline has some world renowned tropical white sand beaches, framed by swaying coconut palms and indented by mangrove-lined creeks opening to the warm, inviting turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. ► TAG & RELEASE All our fishing boats we use, support and practice the ‘Tag & Release’ recording system for billfish, shark and many of the game fish, which provides vital information to support productive, sustainable, marine conservation, and in-turn enhances local communities and ecotourism.
