We use a very comfortable 16 foot Qwest pontoon boat for the columbia Valley trips and we use a 28 foot Chaparral cruiser for the big water lakes like Kootenay and Arrow. Both vessels are fully equipped and very stable and safe. Cruiser is a sleep aboard and is an option for multiday bookings.

I have been a fisherman since the age of 3, started flyfishing at 10 and tying flies at 13...all my life people have told me I should be a guide and I have taught many how to fish and fly fish. Now I am living the dream so to speak, and doing what I love. I have spent a lifetime fishing the pristene waters of western canada and for the past 20 yrs I have focused on the kootenay region chasing monster trout. My personal best rainbow is from Kootenay Lake caught on Jan 10 2012 and weighed in at 23lb 12 oz and 34 inches long...my best Bull Trout is from a small stream and was 28 lbs and 39 3/4 inches long. People ask how it is I catch so many fish??? I tell them I go fishing! You cannot catch anything sitting on your couch...you have to put the time in and have a hook in the water, in other words you have to make the effort...and it is so much fun being outdoors and enjoying nature, whether or not I catch a fish, I just love being out there doing it... and catching something is a bonus in my view, but we always try our best to give our friends(clients) a good chance of hooking that fish of a lifetime!
