Hope aboard Play n Hooky (the boat) and let us take you deep sea sport fishing for Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Spearfish (Short Noise Marlin), Yellow Fin Tuna (Ahi) Skip Jack Tuna (Aku), Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo (Ono).
Play n Hooky is located at Kewalo Basin Harbor just minutes from Waikiki.
Play n Hooky is a 41 foot Hatteras Sport Fisher, powered by twin 380 HP QSB 5.9 Cummins diesels.
She has a micro wave, refrigerator, full size restroom along with a comfortable salon complete with air conditioning.
All fishing equipment is provided. Penn 130H and 50 class international reels mounted on custom 5O7S (5 oceans 7 seas) rods, along with lures and bait. Other equipment includes fighting chair and outriggers.
Bring whatever you would like to eat and drink. There is a refrigerator and cooler with ice on board for you convenience. You may also want to bring Sunscreen (no spray type please), Hat, Sunglasses, Jacket, Sweater or the like. No bananas please.

Policies
Fish Policy; On a private charter the crew of the Play n Hooky will gladly split the days catch with you up to 50 pounds of whole fish. On a share charter everyone will be offered an eating portion (approximately 2 to 4 pounds) depending on the days catch. All fish weighing over 80 pounds will not be cut and kept by the boat. If you wish to tag and release any fish that are caught please discuss that with the captain before you book. The captain and crew will gladly have your catch professionally mounted and shipped to your home or desired destination. Note; Selling fish helps us keep the cost of the charter to you as low as possible. If you really desire to keep your catch please discuss that with the captain before booking your trip. Please remember the selling of fish and tips is a major part of the captain and crews income.

How to get there

Play n Hooky (the boat) is located at Kewalo Basin Harbor, 1125 Ala Moana Blvd next to Ala Moana Beach Park. The slip number is A-4 which is on the second pier (second row of boats) from Ala Moana Blvd, on the Waikiki side of the harbor. There is a sign, “PIER A”, above the gate at the head of the pier.
Book with 10% deposit
Once the charter confirms your trip, your credit card will be charged with a 10% deposit to guarantee the reservation.
Pay remaining balance to the captain
The remaining balance will be paid directly to the charter on the trip date.
